Girl and The Goat

June 5th, 2012 | Reviews, Food

As we’ve previously mentioned not too long ago, we went to Chicago for a buying trip but were so tempted by the amazing food that this wonderful city had to offer that we couldn’t resist trying as many places as we possibly could. (Hence why we’re still writing about this trip. Ha.) It was an obvious no brainer that we had to try Top Chef winner’s Stephanie Izard’s restaurant Girl and The Goat.

Yolk Does A Body Good

May 13th, 2012 | Reviews, Food

A while ago, we headed out to Chicago for a buying trip, turned eating trip. The first morning, we woke up at 5 am (3 am our time) to try out Yolk, and believe us, it was worth every minute of sleep we missed.

I Want to Live in a Gypsy Den

January 26th, 2012 | Reviews, Food

The Gypsy Den is quickly becoming my new favorite place to frequent. First, it’s located at The Lab, which is so hipstertastic it might as well be lined with fixies and French Press coffee (oh wait, it is). Secondly, The Gypsy Den makes you feel as if you’re in someone’s eccentric bohemian living room with its cozy space and awesome, eclectic decor. And their food?! Amazingly healthy and so, so tasty.

San Francisco on the Rocks with Lime

December 18th, 2011 | Reviews, Food

$9 Bottomless mimosas…need I say more? Unfortunately, I have to fill blog-word quota so I must say more about this bar/restaurant, Lime, which shouldn’t be too hard anyway cause this place is as crackin’ as a bag of pop rocks.

I’d Tap That

October 28th, 2011 | Reviews, Food

We all know I love beer. So it’s no surprise that I checked out The Pint House in downtown Fullerton. It is sososo conveniently located 5 min away from work so I can go there anytime to grab a beer and wind down.

The Best Amendment

July 15th, 2011 | Reviews, Food

A couple weeks ago Melissa and I traveled back to Santa Cruz to gather the rest of my things (and pretty much all of Melissa’s belongings that I so kindly forced her to leave behind a month ago in order to bring back my own). After we relentlessly crammed and stuffed our oversized vehicle with clothes, record players, books, mattreses, giant martini glasses (that broke), we decided to reward ourselves with a trip to one of our favorite cities, San Francisco.
