2012 is fast approaching, and we’re getting our 2011 on for the last few times. We had a blast this past year, and we are so thankful for each and every one of you! Not going to lie though, we love NYE parties: sequins and champagne help us get excited for what’s sure to be our best year yet. So cheers to the New Year! Trust, I’ve tried it on about seven times and ran around our office professing my everlasting love for it. Seriously. Mom, if you’re reading this, this jacket is number one on my list.

Infinity scarves are awesome..but infinity scarves with a hood are an awesomeness only Barney Stinson can achieve. In a multicolored print in red, blue, and gray, this scarf will keep you as warm as chestnuts on the open fire. Keep Calm and Carry On Notebook

 

A moleskin with the unofficial mantra of every hipster out there is so hip it’s almost nauseating. That being said, I want this so hard. Perfect to keep in your pocket and pull out every time inspiration hits, you know, as  you’re reading your Kerouac and Ginsberg in the local coffee shop that only serves French Press. I am hipster, hear me scoff.

With the hectic winter season, we’ve got just a bit of wanderlust flowing through our veins. We admit we have a small impulse to just pack our bags up and jet off for the next week or so. Tempting as it is, the holiday season is one to not be missed. As the longing for apple cider and gingerbread cookies keeps us all in our seats, our moodboard will have to carry out our fantasy for us.

Penny Lane and I share a soul and a strong desire to live for music and nothing else. Her free spirited vibe is near perfection, and honestly, in my ideal life, I would be on the road inspiring and living for music, being a band-aid and all. Needless to say, Almost Famous is one of my most favorite movies. #gofigure I literally have every line on lock down.

YOU GUYS, I cannot express how much I love you. During our first Shop or Drop trip, you guys shopped our new shearling jacket, and for that, you have my heart. OK, you guys had it before, but now it’s eternal. I’ve been on a hunt for a soft tan shearling jacket because I obviously need to be Penny Lane on a daily basis, and now because of all of you, I have one. You can find me wearing this jacket and listening to my vinyls all weekend, so thank YOU very much.

Anastasia Lace Maxi Dress

 

You voted, we bought it, and you guys, it was a most excellent selection. Lovely lace overlay with a sheer skirt is like my heaven on earth. It’s great for layering with mixed textures in this cooler season, so you’ll likely find me rocking this with velvet, about four layers of clothing that may or may not include plaid, and a beanie. #highclasshipster #newfavoritehashtag

 

Derora Sequin Dress

 

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this holiday will be nothing without a bit ton of sequins. This one in particular sounds good, looks good, feels good too. I mean, if I wore this to a holiday party, you would probably find me in the corner feeling this dress up. Or you know, if you’re a normal non-sartorial obsesssed soul, “feel my dress” as a pick up line may just come in handy. (Actually, you’ll probably sound slightly creepy. Just keep it to yourself.) Nonetheless, it is the perfect holiday get up.

 

Sandy Field Shearling Boots

 

As comfortable as Uggs are, I’ve tried to refrain from wearing them outside the house since 2007. Now, I won’t have to fight the urge. These knee high boots are lined with the softest shearling and are my new cold weather go-to. Ok, I know I live in Ca and most of you are mocking my cold weather essentials since we don’t really experience any, but to me, you guys, I feel like an ice cube, even when it’s only 50. No matter, these boots are excellent for anybody’s winter.
