Summer is halfway over, but don’t let that get you down. There’s still time to break out your summer favorites of cutout bralettes, kimonos, overalls, crop tops, and short shorts. We’re taking some tips from the pros (aka our favorite bloggers) and living out the rest of summer in playful and comfortable pieces. It’s time to get loose with Kiara of Tobruck Ave, Alyssa of Ordinary People, and Danielle of We Wore What.

Alyssa is kickin’ ass in this stylish yellow and black ensemble. There’s something about a kimono in the summer that makes a girl look comfortable and so exotic. And with her black cutout bralette, tough boots, edgy hardware, Alyssa completes the midsummer dream look.

There’s no time like the summertime to play with a colorful embellished tank and peachy scalloped short shorts. And with a bright orange backpack and some rad snakeskin shoes, Kiara is ready for those after-sunset adventures.

There’s nothing that says playful summer more than overalls. As Danielle shows us, overalls are definitely not just for kids anymore. By pairing it with a leopard print crop top and white sneakers, this look is super easy and lightweight for summer shenanigans.
