As we’ve previously mentioned not too long ago, we went to Chicago for a buying trip but were so tempted by the amazing food that this wonderful city had to offer that we couldn’t resist trying as many places as we possibly could. (Hence why we’re still writing about this trip. Ha.) It was an obvious no brainer that we had to try Top Chef winner’s Stephanie Izard’s restaurant Girl and The Goat. Believe us, try this place and you’ll understand why she won (by the way, she’s the only female contestant who’s won. Woo girls!) . With all the amazing dishes on the menu, I was sold when I heard they bake their bread daily. We’re carb fiends so good bread makes me oh-so-happy (bread makes you fat?!? #ScottPilgrim). If you’re ever in the area, try this place…seriously. GO. NOW.
