Go Fish

Riusuke Fukahori is extremely skilled at what he does. And no, it isn’t photographing fish. It’s actually painting them. Yes, that is a painting showed above. More rather a photograph OF a painting. The basin is real, the saucer is real, the fish are just mere mixtures of pigments and solvents. Still in disbelief? I don’t blame you.

Fukahori utilizes an ingenious technique of painting one layer at a time onto acrylic resin, which is how he manifests that brilliant three dimensional look.
