Lace for Every Look

February 17th, 2014 | Style, Fashion

This might sound weird, but I feel bad for lace. It’s so much more than the fabric of moody grandmothers and stuffy dinner parties! The good news is, we can start the movement to change these predisposed views of lace. No matter your style, you can do lace some justice!

1. Boho — Keep things carefree with a lace maxi skirt or swing dress! Style your look with a panama hat and a touch of fringe to make lace your own.

2. Glam — A little lace dress is all you need to start the fun. Add some sky-high heels, a silky kimono, and some vampy lipstick for a whole lot of look.

3. Preppy — You know those off-duty models are rocking lace tops with boyfriends jeans and blazers! If you’ve already mastered that outfit, try layering a collared shirt under a sleeveless lace dress to take things to the next level.

4. Sedgy Rocker — Black lace was made to pair with your favorite moto jacket! Add some heeled boots and eyeliner and you’ll be slaying hearts in your lacey get-up.

5. Tomboy — Think there’s no place for lace in your life? Try throwing some plaid over a lace tank or lace-trimmed tee and you’ll see just how casual things can get in the realm of lace!

Now the question is, what will you do to lace up?
