Laidback Braids

February 4th, 2014 | Style, Beauty

Some people just have hair artistry in their genes. I am not “some people” — in fact, I can’t even manage a sock bun using one of those sock bun donut helpers. It’s a problem.
Luckily, the messy braided look is perfect for a novice like me! Our latest lookbook, Fast Forward to Spring, is all about that intersection between boho and feminine, which translates to a whole lot of braids in the hair department.

I’m loving the laidback look of these fish tail accent braids; a single, messy braid gives hair a little something extra without draining your time or patience. If you’re also less than skilled when it comes to hair, use this “single, messy braid” trick to tame unruly bangs, distract from the disheveled state of second-day hair gone wrong, or just add some unexpected oomph to your everyday routine.

We got this.
