Music Burrito Supreme

August 17th, 2011 | Media

I’m feeling a little spontaneous today so I’m just gonna dish out whatever delectable tunes I’ve got on replay…even if it doesn’t make sense. The best things in life are the ones that don’t make sense anyway. Think of this as a large psych pop, R&B, indie, hellaaaachill wet burrito a la carte. You just want to stuff your face in it and not regret it later…which you won’t, trust, these tunes have the healthy kind of fat. My latest obsession is the indie electro, psych pop (yeah RIGHT WHAT IS THIS AWESOME GENRE) duo Phantogram. I’ll admit, I think I’m pretty late to the Phantogram game in spite of my epic hipsterdom but hey, at least they’re still mildly unknown so that’s what counts. Another artist to keep your ever so hipster eye on is the Canadian R&B singer, The Weeknd (you can download his latest mixtape for free on his website). Super sexy, super hot, his voice is like the red chili habanero sauce on top of this already mouthwatering burrito.
