Lavender Green Tea

London’s been calling our names all week, and what better way to give in then with our favorite tea recipe (pardon our stereotyping).  Try our Lavender Green Tea, and then forgive us for the Boston Tea Party.


What you need:
-1 green tea bag (or more depending on how strong you like your tea)
-1 Sprig of lavender blossoms
-2 cups of water
-Brown sugar (or your preference of sweetener honey and agave nectar is a good option too)

What you do:
-Wash Lavender sprig.
-Remove flowers into the boiling water (the fresher the flowers the less you need) or use a tea strainer if available.
-Let lavender sit in boiling hot water for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
-After 5 minutes, put the green tea bag into the pot and let absorb .
-Pour tea into cup, using a strainer or large spoon to strain out excess flowers.
-Use brown sugar or agave nectar for sweetener (optional).
