Pita Bread Spread

August 21st, 2012 | Recipes, Food

School’s starting soon and that means you gotta start stocking up on all the snacks you can get. However, sometimes doritos and hostess mini donuts aren’t gonna cut it, so we’re giving you a super easy and affordable snack to make while you are busy writing 10 page papers, proving theorems and all that important stuff. All you need is three simple ingredients and bam, you’ve got the perfect college snack.

What you need:
Pita bread (the softest you can find)
Fig spread
Mozzarella

 What you do:

1. Spread the fig jam on the pita bread so it is thoroughly covered.  You can add however much you would like.

2. Next, just rip or slice the mozzarella and put it on the pita bread. In our opinion, the more the better.  Try to pull off thin pieces so they lay better and won’t fall off as easy.

You can eat the snack as a whole or cut it into 4 pieces, whatever you wish.

Mm mm good,
