It’s so awesome to see Swedish sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg finally settling in to their sound and being confident in their innate talent.

It’s no secret that I like to highly publicize my adoration for André Allen Anjos, who is better known as his remix master alias RAC.

Burn Your Fire For No Witness

February 15th, 2014 | Reviews, Music

Something happens to me when I listen to Angel Olsen, something that I can only imagine what must feel like to be neck deep in a pool of awesome loneliness. Olsen’s voice is a lovely heartbroken mess, tinged with killer bluesy folk and fiery red fortitude.

Chromaesthesia

January 31st, 2014 | Reviews, Music

Our favorite boys The Electric Sons just dropped their brand new EP ‘Chromaesthesia’ today. As per usual, the fantastically electronic duo that is Andrew Miller and Ben Richards have produced some sonically infectious tracks.

The Mosh Pit: HAIM at The Casbah + Days Are Gone

October 22nd, 2013 | Reviews, Music

I don’t think it’s even remotely possible to put our love for HAIM into words. You know how everyone felt about The Beatles in their heyday? Yeah, it’s kinda like that.

Heartthrob

January 22nd, 2013 | Reviews, Music

The road from Baroque Pop to Electro Synth Pop is not one that can be trekked easily. And I so wish I could say Ra Ra Riot is a band that has come out alive and unscathed. With the newly quartet’s latest release, Beta Love, the band says goodbye to everything they once knew…
