This week’s music post shall be GLEE THEMED!!!

Just kidding. I got out of doing jury duty this morning so I’m a wee bit psyched (OK HELLA PSYCHED OH YEAH). Because of my awesome morning, you guys will be getting some wigGLEEful tunes (see what I did there). Madeon’s marvelous mashup “Pop Culture” pretty much sums up all my glee into one song. I can’t even count how many songs he samples in this one…it all just blends so well together. This dude’s also only 16 years old and he’s already making his way up to be the king of the house music industry. And he’s French…uhh need I say more? The mashup between Ellie Goulding and Daft Punk is also a “I feel so good I must listen like right NAOWAHH” kind of song (but then again what Daft Punk song isn’t like that?). And as for Avicii and Gigamesh…well let’s just say it’s normal to feel the urge to fist pump the crap out of the air when you listen to them.

For those of you who know me – which is probably no one but the members of team ThreadSence – know that I have an affinity for anything Daft Punk. So imagine my surprise when I came across this little bit of YouTube goodness this morning. If you asked me to draft up a ‘Top 3 Daft Punk Goodies’ list, I’d gladly retort:

(In no particular order)

1). A 40-foot-tall, LED-encrusted pyramid, with a retractable front cover wired to make any Disneyland Light Parade look like a Lite-Brite (which is still VERY cool in it’s own right, but not in this case).

2). The most elaborate DJ setup known to Daft man or woman (shown below).

3). A DAFT PUNK HELMET!!!!!!

God bless this kind soul for doing what I have tried to yet failed so miserably in past lifetimes. I once again have purpose in life as to procure one of these bad boys for Halloween ’10. Just think of think of the interesting conversations you’d spark at parties….
