Lately there’s been a massive shortage of XX chromosomes in these mixtapes. I was just about to grab my axe and start some riot grrrl action but then Haim and Florence + The Machine came to rescue me from my spontaneous and most likely highly embarrassing female empowerment tour.

It’s midterms week and I’m in dire need for a good GET PSYCHED mix. This week’s playlist should do the trick with a good combo of indie rock and electro. Mixes are always better with Emily Haines and Ewoks anyway.
