It’s nice to know that no matter how hectic life gets, I can always count on music to keep me grounded. All cheese aside, I’m pretty damn stoked for this week’s tuneage selection.

I can’t say we’ve survived Coachella just yet seeing how round 2 is just days away. I almost want to curl up into a ball of fuzzy blankets and die there…but also the thought of experiencing all the bands, beers, and crappy tasty munchies again is keeping my rage flag flying high.

The greatest love songs of all time have been on hundreds of thousands of mixtapes, so it is strongly against my hipster-dom that I go the traditional route of forming a Valentine’s Day mix.

Oh man, I can’t get enough of all this good tuneage swirling around the blogosphere right now. New tracks and re-edits and omgah, I think I’m about to burst.

You can’t have tomboy class without a solid mixtape to chill out to. So here’s some tuneage for those of you that resonate phat beats and utterly cool vibes.

I’m down for some more dream trip poppy bliss, aren’t you? It’s been a while since we slowed things down. And as Black Friday is slowly rearing its wickedly awesome head, I think we’re in dire need to chill out before things get mad chaotic.

Maybe it’s the fact that I’m doubley stoked for silent disco at Treasure Island music festival next week, or the fact that it’s almost lunch and I can’t wait to eat the turkey sandwich I made, regardless, I’m in a dancey mood.

I’m already in Summer mode, not gonna lie. And these new tracks from Ghost Beach and RAC pretty much sanction my distorted beliefs…

Chillwave is making a comeback and these songs are undeniably awesome enough to prove that statement to be true.
