The Right Romper

February 8th, 2014 | Style, Fashion

I used to think rompers were reserved for the elite fashion-blogger types. The kind of girls who wear stilettos to pizza parlours and make eating those cheesy slices an experience akin to a Victoria’s Secret fashion show. But there’s no reason to think there’s a person out there who can’t make the romper work for them!

It’s all about finding the first romper to initiate the trend into your everyday wardrobe. For me, the right romper turned out to be a black chiffon number with a floral print and some cinching at the waist to quell my “does-this-make-me-look-wide” woes. And let me tell you, that thing is comfortable.

It’s easy, effortless, and just the right amount of different. And just maybe some of Lena Dunham’s success will rub off on me in the process.
