Through The Mic

“For too long, Los Angeles hip hop has been seen as one dimensional ‘gangsta rap.’ With this new series, we’re giving our city’s hip hop artists an amazing platform to show not only our community, but the world, that we have so much more to offer.
– Murs (via LACMA)

LACMA and Murs are hosting a new concert series that explores L.A. hip hop at its current finest. It all goes down on the third Thursday of each month from May to October, starting next Thursday, May 17, in front of the iconc Urban Light sculpture (you know, the famous group of white light poles in front of the museum). Mark your calendars, kids. This is one series you don’t want to miss. For tickets, hop on over to LACMA.

Hope to See You There,
Melissa
